Max Holloway was born on December 4, 1991, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is of Native Hawaiian, Samoan, and Irish ancestry.

Holloway started training in mixed martial arts (MMA) at the age of 19.

He attended Kamehameha Schools, a private institution in Hawaii known for its strong athletics program.

Holloway's nickname "Blessed" comes from his belief in the power of positive thinking and the law of attraction.

He holds the record for the most significant strikes landed in a single UFC fight, with 290 strikes against Brian Ortega in 2018.

Holloway has a record of 10 consecutive wins at featherweight, the second-longest streak in UFC history.

He has defeated some of the biggest names in MMA, including Conor McGregor, Frankie Edgar, and Jose Aldo.

 Holloway is known for his unique fighting style, which includes switching stances and utilizing unorthodox strikes.

Outside of MMA, Holloway is an avid video gamer and enjoys playing games like Fortnite and Call of Duty.
